Paralympic Gold and Bronze Medalist, Pieter Du Preez
Pieter’s journey is one of overcoming adversity, pushing the boundaries of human endurance, and embracing the mental and physical strength required to achieve greatness. His story speaks to the power of resilience, as well as the courage it takes to break through limitations and redefine personal potential. In his keynote address, Pieter will share invaluable insights on the topics of resilience, breakthrough bravery, and inclusive leadership. He will discuss how developing a mindset of persistence and overcoming fear can lead to transformative results, both personally and professionally. And how to step beyond our comfort zones, tackle challenges head-on, and approach leadership and personal growth with a spirit of bravery and resilience.
Pieter du Preez is a world-class South African Quadreplegic athlete whose remarkable career has inspired millions. With an impressive collection of gold and bronze medals from the Paralympic Games, Pieter is widely regarded as one of South Africa’s most accomplished and resilient athletes. His exceptional achievements go beyond the podium, as he has made history as the first quadriplegic to complete the gruelling Ironman triathlon—a monumental feat that has redefined what is possible for athletes with disabilities.
