In August 2007, his company Talent Technologies was acquired by US-based PreVisor (now CEB) and John relocated with his family to Atlanta to become its director of international product management.
In 2011, he returned to Australia and established Talegent to lead the development of the next generation of talent measurement technology.
A New Zealand native, John Austin also founded SHL NZ Ltd, in 1993, and worked in senior management roles for the SHL global organization in the UK, Europe, and the US from 1997-to 2001. Previous roles were Product Manager and Organizational Psychologist with PA Consulting Group, Mobil Oil, and Deloitte.
